In the late 1990’s, the founders of Virtual IT recognized a unique market opportunity to form a regional firm focused on providing midmarket clients with access to world-class consultancy services, on-par with the services of large national firms. However, instead of employing an army of inexperienced graduates to tackle clients’ issues, the firm built a network of the best and brightest seasoned experts, who were willing to work virtually and serve clients locally. This was the genesis of Virtual IT, established in 2000 by Juliet Silver and Becky Gibbs a renowned systems integration veteran.
Ranny Grubb, Enterprise Architect with Norfolk Southern Corporation, joined the firm in 2001 as its Managing Consultant. He set about building a team to deliver high value consulting engagements, conducted in an efficient and personalized manner, by highly experienced personnel with deep domain level expertise and industry specific knowledge.
Today, with a fourteen year track record in the industry, Virtual IT is firmly established as an expert in its field, with recognized specializations in business and IT strategy, disaster recovery and cyber security planning, project and program management, data analytics and business intelligence. We have successfully completed hundreds of engagements, with satisfied clients across the Mid-Atlantic and South-Eastern United States. We stand behind our work and succeed by referral.
